The president of Tecnyconta Zaragoza, Reynaldo Benito, announced the club will be part of Basketball Champions League next season while speaking to Aragon Radio.
“We will play in BCL, we believe in the competition and we will go to get as far as possible”. Benito confirmed the participation in BCL. “It is the second time that we qualify and for various reasons, we can not join”, he added.
However, it has to be noted that in theory, if Valencia had not won the EuroCup, then they would get the ACB spot for finishing third in the Spanish league, so Zaragoza would not qualify to the EuroLeague.
