Peristeri Vikos Cola announced that the club has submitted their application to participate in the 2019-20 Basketball Champions League: The return to European competitions after 15 years is a great time for Peristeri which will compete in next season’s Basketball Champions League. It’s a competition of meritocracy that gives teams the opportunity to gain via their national championships a European ticket and they have to fight until the last minute in order to secure it.”

Peristeri reached the Greek League semifinals and will finish the season at the third or fourth place depending on the outcome of their third-place series against AEK Athens which is currently tied at 1-1.

The club will return to a European competition after a 15-year drought. In the past, Peristeri played EuroLeague, FIBA Korac Cup, FIBA Europe Champions Cup, and the FIBA Europe League.

From 1991–92 (first participation) to 2003–04 (last participation), Peristeri recorded 67 wins, 58 losses and one tie in 126 games played in all the European-wide professional club basketball competitions.
