AEK Athens announced the signing of head coach Ilias Papatheodorou to a two-year deal that runs through summer 2021, a couple of days after parting ways with Luca Banchi.
The 44-year-old coach arrives to AEK from fellow Greek League rival PAOK Thessaloniki where he spent the previous two seasons.
Throughout his career, Papatheodorou has coached Astana (2016-17), as well as the U18, U19, U20 Greek National Team among others.
