Falco Szombathely became the Hungarian League champions after sweeping the top-seeded Egis Kormend and will join the next season’s Basketball Champions League.
They have filled the last spot in the 2019-20 BCL team lineup and will kick off the competition among the 16 clubs in the first qualifying round.
The two times Hungarian champions played in the FIBA Europe Cup past two seasons but didn’t advance past the regular season. Last season, they finished with a 3-3 record.
