Marcelinho Huertas and Iberostar Tenerife are close to finalizing a deal, as Eurohoops sources confirmed and as “Encestando” reported first.
The 36-year-old Brazilian/Italian guard spent the previous two seasons with Baskonia coming from Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA.
Huertas posted an average of 7.8 points and 4.7 assists in 34 games with Baskonia this past campaign in EuroLeague, while he is set to make his Basketball Champions League debut with Tenerife.
