The Liga Endesa has announced that Herbalife Gran Canaria presented an offer for Stan Okoye, who is under the “tanteo” right of Basket Zaragoza.
It’s the Spanish version of the restricted free agency and yesterday on the 20th of July the deadline for submitting offers to the players who are part of the “tanteo” list has expired. Zaragoza can match the offer and keep the players until Friday midnight.
Okoye was part of the All-ACB team while averaging 14.6 ppg and 4.9 rpg.
Five players on the “tanteo” list got offers from others team. Those were Dario Brizuela, Santiago Yusta, Rafa Luz, Clevin Hannah, and Okoye.
Brizuela had an offer from Valencia, but Estudiantes matched it and kept him. Yusta and Luz, on the other hand, ended up in Tenerife and Murcia, with Real Madrid and Andorra not matching the offer.
Andorra has presented an offer for Hannah ad Gran Canaria has until Monday midnight to match it.
