Iberostar Tenerife has acquired the services of the Marcelino Huertas for the next two seasons, as the club announced.
The new Canarian player comes from Baskonia, where he has just closed his second tour of duty and he is one of the most important game floor generals in the recent history of the Spanish Liga Endesa. He has played a total of 487 games, spread over twelve seasons with four different teams and averages of 8.4 points and 3.8 assists for 9.7 PIR per game.
In Spain, he has played for Bilbao, Baskonia, and Barcelona, winning three ACB league titles, a Copa del Rey, a Super Cup, and a FIBA Eurocup. He has also played for Fortitudo Bologna and the Los Angeles Lakers.
