Turk Telekom officially added Kyle Wiltjer on Wednesday. The 26-year-old Canadian-American forward is set to make his Basketball Champions League debut with the Turkish side.
Wiltjer, a former Gonzaga and Kentucky player in the NCAA, and a Houston Rockets player in the NBA, moved to Europe in 2017 to join Olympiacos. Following in his father’s footsteps by playing in Greece, he competed in the EuroLeague with the Reds as well.
The 2018-19 season brought him to Unicaja Malaga and 7DAYS EuroCup. Wiltjer averaged 10.3 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.3 assists per EuroCup contest, also notched 11.6 points per ACB Regular Season match and followed up with 8.7 points per game in the Playoffs.
