James Michael McAdoo inked a one-year contract with Besiktas Sompo Japan, the Turkish club announced on Thursday. His move brings him to the Basketball Champions League for the first time.
The North Carolina alumni is a veteran of 137 NBA games, all but three with the Golden State Warriors. He was crowned NBA champion twice, in 2015 and 2017.
Last summer he made the European jump by joining Torino and averaged 11 points, 5 rebounds and 1 assist per 7DAYSEuroCup match. McAdoo also posted 9.6 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1 assist per contest in the LBA Serie A.
