American guard Trent Lockett penned a deal with Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem, the Basketball Champions League side announced on Wednesday. Reports recently surfaced on Hapoel luring the Arizona State and Marquette alumni to Israel.
The veteran of three 7DAYS EuroCup campaigns, a pair with UNICS Kazan and the other with Dolomiti Energia Trento is set for his BCL debut. He will compete in the Israeli Super League for the first time as well.
Lockett is coming off 7 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1 steal per EuroCup match with UNICS. He also had 6.4 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 0.9 steals per VTB United League match.
