Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem added Mindaugas Kupsas, the Israeli club announced on Wednesday. The 28-year-old Lithuanian center inked a contract for the 2019-20 season, which includes an option for the 2020-21 season.
Kupsas has mainly played in his country including a one-year stint with Zalgiris Kaunas six years ago. However, the upcoming campaign will find him in the Israeli Super League. He will also compete in the Basketball Champions League.
Last season, upon returning to Lietkabelis Panevezys, the Lithuanian center averaged 8.7 points and 4.4 rebounds per BCL contest. As for his LKL showing, he posted 9 points and 4.8 rebounds per match.
