Jaromir Bohacik ‘exploded’ with 17 first-half points which gave ERA Nymburk a big lead and they kept the distance for a 91-71 home win over Brose Bamberg in Basketball Champions League Group C.
Bohacik finished the game with 24 points while also adding four steals in addition to Deishuan Booker’s 18 and Hayden Dalton’s 14 points.
For Brose, Bryce Taylor scored 16 followed by Paris Lee and Elias Harris’ 11 points each. Lee also dished seven assists.
Nymburk started the game with a 16-0 run thanks to which they eventually went on the halftime rest with a 52-34 lead. Brose managed to cut the gap to eight points (65-57) in front of the final period but the hosts answered with eight straight points and sealed the win.
