JDA Dijon led from wire to wire against Falco Szombathely and the 87-68 win for the Basketball Champions League Group D proved to be a formality.
The hosts started this season with a triumph as Rasheed Sulaimon (photo) scored 23 points, Richard Solomon finished the game almost with a double-double with 17 points and nine rebounds, Abdoulaye Loum was also in double digits with 12 points.
Juvonte Reddic and Marko Filipovity scored 22 points each but it was not enough for the Hungarian champs who were simply outmatched.
Dijon had the chance to present a basketball exhibition which ended with the team dishing in total 29 assists, an impressive number while making just 13 turnovers.
