It certainly was not easy for Happy Casa Brindisi, but Adrian Banks pushed the Italian club to the 76-75 win over Telekom Baskets Bonn at the Palazzetto dello Sport “Elio Pentassuglia” on Tuesday.

The 33-year-old guard poured 23 points in the first half and ended up with 31. He made 6/8 beyond the arc, grabbed nine rebounds as well.

Despite his massive scoring performance, the Italian club was behind with 3.3 seconds left and needed Tyler Stone at the buzzer to improve to 1-1 in Group D of the Basketball Champions League Regular Season. Stone, 28, got to 13 points with the winning putback.

On Bonn that dropped to 1-1, Martin Breunig posted 15 points to go along with his 8 rebounds and Yorman Polas Bartolo added 13 for Thomas Pach’s side.
