JDA Dijon dominated the paint against (50 compared to 20 points) Neptunas Klaipeda and logged an 89-75 road win in Basketball Champions League. Dijon improved to 2-0 while Neptunas holds a 1-1 record in Group D.
David Holston scored 19 points for the winning side followed by Jeremy Leloup with 14 and Rasheed Sulaimon with 13 points. Axel Julien notched a double-double with ten points and ten assists.
For Neptunas, Gytis Masiulis banked 19 in addition to Deividas Gailius’ 18 points.
Dijon went ahead 22-18 at the end of the first quarter thanks to Holston’s triple and then took off in the second quarter for a 44-28 lead at halftime. They led by as much as 21 points (54-33) after the break and although Neptunas decreased the gap, they couldn’t cut it past nine points (81-72) as Dijon sealed the win.
