JDA Dijon continued with great results this season as they routed Happy Casa Brindisi 95-79 at home in Basketball Champions League. They kept a perfect 3-0 record compared to Brindisi’s 1-2.
David Holston led the way with 17 points and nine assists while Michael Young and Axel Julien scored 15 points each.
For Brindisi, Tyler Stone scored 16 points in addition to Adrian Banks’ 14 and Darius Thompson’s 13 points.
Brindisi had a slight upper hand after the first quarter (25-23) but Dijon had the same lead at halftime (43-41). The third quarter turned out to be crucial as Dijon took over and grabbed an 11-point advantage (73-62). The French squad kept going leading by as much as 21 points (88-67) and securing the win.
