Teksut Bandirma grabbed 42 compared to 26 rebounds of RASTA Vechta which resulted in a lot of second-chance points and an 81-73 road win.
Bandirma improved to 2-3 while Vechta now stands at a 3-2 record in Basketball Champions League Group B.
Tyler Kalinoski led the way with 20 points and eight assists while Emanuel Terry notched a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Omar Prewitt logged 17 points.
For Vechta, Steve Vasturia scored 19 points in addition to Trevis Simpson’s 18 and Josh Young’s 14 points.
Bandirme was up 18-13 after the first quarter and 39-37 at halftime. They went on to double-digits late in the third quarter (59-48) and kept the distance until the end for the win.
