VEF Riga made a comeback in the second half but Brose Bamberg responded strong and logged a 76-55 road win.
Brose improved to 3-2 while Riga now holds a 1-4 record in Basketball Champions League Group C.
Tre McLean led the charge with 23 points on 9-10 shooting (5-6 threes) in addition to Assem Marei’s 12 and Paris Lee’s ten points.
For Riga, Lester Medford scored 17 points as the only double-digit scorer. Kristijan Krajina added nine points and nine rebounds.
Bamberg had a 14-7 lead after a tough first quarter and kept the distance at halftime (31-23). Riga cut the gap to three points (46-43) early in the fourth quarter but finished the game on a 26-12 run to grab the win.
