San Pablo Burgos announced the addition of Oliver Stevic to Joan Penarroya’s squad. The 35-year-old forward inked a contract until January 11th with an option for the remainder of the 2019-20 season, the Spanish club noted in the press release.
Stevic spent four seasons between 2015 and 2019 in Spain. Aside his ACB comeback, he will make his Basketball Champions League debut adding on his significant experience in various European club competitions he gained during his career.
Coming in as an injury relief with Goran Huskic sidelined, the Serbian forward last competed in the ABA League with Igokea. He averaged 7 points and 5.8 rebounds per appearance.
Burgos is currently riding a 3-3 W-L record in BCL’s Group B, good enough for a fourth place tie. A 6-4 tally marks its ACB performance so far.
