Filou Oostende bounced back but SIG Strasbourg put on a late run to grab a 71-64 road win. Strasbourg now holds a 4-4 record in Group A compared to Oostende’s 3-5.
Gabe York led the way with 19 points followed by Thomas Scrubb’s 14 and Scottie Reynolds’ 13 points.
On the other side, Shevon Thompson continued with strong double-double performances by logging 16 points and 14 boards. Braian Angola helped with 15 points.
Oostende started off better leading 11-2 early on but Strasbourg quickly recovered and led 17-13 by the end of the first quarter and 35-26 at halftime.
The Belgian squad took over in the third quarter and had a slight upper hand in front of the final ten minutes (50-48). The game stayed balanced but Strasbourg made a 13-4 run to take the win.
