Branden Frazier took off in crunch time and pushed Telekom Baskets Bonn to a 77-72 road win against Casademont Zaragoza in Basketball Champions League. Bonn improved to 5-3 compared to Zaragoza’s 4-4 record in Group D.
Frazier banked ten points in the last five minutes to spark Bonn’s big comeback and finished the game with 14 points. Martin Breunig added 13 and Yorman Polas Bartolo 12 points.
For Zaragoza, Robin Benzing scored 13 in addition to Carlos Alocen and Dylan Ennis’ 11 points each.
Bonn was up slightly after the first quarter (17-15) while the score was tied at halftime (37-37). Bonn reached a ten points lead after the break (51-41) but Zaragoza turned it around and led 67-58 at the five-minute mark.
However, Frazier stepped up for Bonn and led the German side to the late comeback and road win.
