By scoring 121 points in the win over Polski Cukier Torun, BAXI Manresa almost tied the record for most points in a single game of the competition. However, while the Spanish team came close to that record, they also registered an amazing new record in assists.
With a total of 41 assists, Manresa improved the previous record, which was shared by UNET Holon and Avtodor Saratov, by seven. In total six teams on seven occasions have dished 33 or more assists, however, Manresa is on a league of their own.
