Nizhny Novgorod finished the game against Brose Bamberg on an 11-0 run and grabbed a 76-75 home win in Basketball Champions League.
The Russian squad improved to 6-3 as they get one step closer to securing a playoff spot while Brose now holds a 4-5 record in Group C.
Darrlyn Willis and Pavel Antipov both scored 12 points for the victors in addition to Evgenii Baburin and Anton Astapkovich’s 11 each.
Bryce Taylor led the way with 14 points on 5-7 shooting while Retin Obasohan added 11 points.
The hosts started off better and led 20-14 after ten minutes but it was a tie at halftime (39-39). Brose was the squad to come out of the locker rooms stronger grabbing a 12-point advantage (63-51) but Nizhny made a huge comeback dominating down the stretch and stealing the win.
