Teksut Bandirma kept its playoff chances alive with an 89-81 home win over Telenet Giants Antwerp in Basketball Champions League. Bandirma improved to 4-5 compared to Antwerp’s 2-7 record in Group B.
Emanuel Terry led the way with 25 points on 10-13 shooting while adding seven rebounds, three assists, three steals and a block. Omar Prewitt followed with 18 points.
For Antwerp, Hans Vanwijn scored 15 points while Luka Rupnik notched a double-double with 14 points and ten assists.
Bandirma had an upper hand from the start as they led 26-18 after ten minutes and 50-42 at halftime. They stayed ahead after the break as well (79-69) and although Antwerp cut the gap to just two points (81-79) late in the fourth, the hosts recovered with six straight points and secured the win.
