In a game full of ups and downs, Dinamo Sassari came out on top 92-89 against Turk Telekom in Basketball Champions League. Sassari improved to 7-2 compared to Turk Telekom’s 6-3 record in Group A.
Michele Vitali led the way with 20 points on 8-10 shooting (4-5 threes) while Curtis Jerrells added 16 and Stefano Gentile 15 points (4-5 threes).
On the other side, T.J. Campbell banked 26 and Kyle Wiltjer 25 points while R. J. Hunter added 16.
Sassari was up 26-23 after ten minutes but they created a nine-point lead (47-38) by halftime. The guest bounced back after the break and took over the lead (66-64) at the end of the third quarter.
Turk Telekom increased the gap to nine points (88-72) in the fourth quarter but this time around Sassari made a comeback and eventually grabbed the win in the final minute.
