Minus one free throw, TaShawn Thomas was perfect with 10/10 field goals guiding Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem to the 83-74 victory opposite to RASTA Vechta at the Rasta Dome Vechta on Tuesday evening.
The Houston and Oklahoma alum was hitting on all cylinders with 9/9 inside the rainbow and 1/1 beyond the arc for a game-high 23 points. Missed one free throw attempt though.
Newcomer John Holland added 17 points for the visitors in the Basketball Champions League Regular Season Gameday 10 contest. James Feldeine contributed to the “W” with 13 points.
Jordan Davis led the hosts with 19 points behind 7/16 from the field. Steve Vasturia posted 16 of his own. However the hosts fell a couple of buckets short from an 18-point comeback.
Completing the two-game sweep over the German outlet improved the W-L record in Group B to 7-3 for Oded Kattash’s side. Pedro Calles’ team fell to 5-5 with its third season loss at Vechta.
