UNET Holon put on a strong start and despite some ups and downs logged a 99-86 home win over Polski Cukier Torun.
Holon improved to 4-6 and is, together with Lietkabelis, one behind the fourth-placed Filou Oostende (5-5) in Group A while Torun stays at the bottom with a 2-8 record.
Guy Pnini shot 6-7 from deep on his way to 20 points while Troy Caupain was right behind with 19 in addition to Marcus Foster’s 15 points.
For Torun, Keith Hornsby scored 14 while Chris Wright helped with 13 and Jakub Schenk with 12 points.
Holon led 26-13 early on and kept some distance by halftime (50-42). There were a couple of ups and downs after the break but Holon was up 72-60 at the end of the third quarter and led by as much as 18 points (94-76) in the final period sealing the deal.
