FIBA added the 2000 European League final to the list of classic games available to watch on-demand. The top four 1999-2000 teams met at Thessaloniki and Panathinaikos defeated Maccabi Tel Aviv, 73-67, in the championship game.
The Greek side eliminated Efes Pilsen and the Israeli moved past FC Barcelona in the Final Four semifinals. Final Four MVP Zeljko Rebraca punched in a team-high 20 points and former Maccabi player Oded Kattash added 17 for the team coached by Zeljko Obradovic.
