Andrei Kirilenko remains the president of the Russian Basketball Federation, a position in which he was first elected back in 2015.
After an election that was done remotely, Kirilenko was re-elected by a landslide, getting 109 votes, while his opponent, Eduart Sandler, got 16.
Sandler, also a former player and Russian citizen born in 1981 at Vladivostok, finished the season as the head coach of the club Vostok-65 of the Russian first division.
