Kristaps Porzingis registered a game-high 22 points and 14 rebounds as Latvia blew out Turkey 111 – 85 to improve its 2023 World Cup Qualifiers record to 3-2 in Group I. The winning side was furious from beyond the arc, shooting 20 out of 35 triples.
Davis Bertans contributed 17 points on 5-7 threes in 18:20. Rihards Lomazs added 15 points and Rolands Smits scored 11 for Latvia which was particularly dominant in the second half to lead up to 31 points (99 – 68) early in the fourth quarter.
