Shocking news coming from Ukraine, where former National team shooting guard Ruslan Otverchenko died at 33 years of age due to heart problems.
He played for the vast majority of his career in Ukraine except for the 2015-16 season with BAXI Manresa in Spain. His last club was Budivelnyk Kyiv, which is currently in the FIBA Europe Cup.
In 2017, he started for the Ukrainian national team at EuroBasket, where he averaged 4.3 points per game in 6 appearances.
