After being tested positive following an anti-doping control before the EuroLeague game between Milan and Panathinaikos in March 2022, Dinos Mitoglou has now officially been banned for 2,5 years.
The 26-year-old Greek power forward can’t play in International competition until the 25th of November 2024, as can be officially seen on FIBA’s website.
His suspension was announced with the following statement: “Presence of a Prohibited Substance (Metandienone, ed) or its Metabolites or Markers in an Athlete’s Sample – Article 2.1 FIBA ADR”.
