Being part of a 25-man preliminary roster for the upcoming 2025 EuroBasket Qualifiers games by North Macedonia against Estonia and Poland, Ethan Happ will have the opportunity to debut Internationally after moving overseas in 2019 with Olympiacos.

Playing in the BKT EuroCup with reigning champions Gran Canaria, he has been averaging 9.6 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game in the competition, standing 3rd in Group B with a 12-6 record. In the ACB, he’s putting up 11.0 points and 4.0 rebounds per encounter.

The Spanish team’s center will now fight for a spot in the 2025 EuroBasket Qualifiers with TJ Shorts, who was also called up and already played with the North Macedonian national team in the Pre-Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Poland-Estonia.

Paris Basketall’s playmaker also had 21.5 points and 6.3 assists per game in the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 Pre-Qualifiers, and he’s now averaging 17.3 points and 7.6 assists per game in the 2023-24 BKT EuroCup, pushing Tuomas Iisalo’s to the 1st place in Group A with a 17-1 record.

Moving to Europe in 2019 after playing in college with the Wisconsin Badgers, Ethan Happ played for Olympiacos, Vanoli Cremona, Fortitudo Bologna, Dinamo Sassari, MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg, and Rio Breogan before joining Gran Canaria in the summer of 2023.
