Patrick Baumann and Jordi Bertomeu met earlier today in Valencia during the inauguration of the club’s new training center, FIBA confirmed.
Baumann talked with Bertomeu about FIBA’s compromise solution in order to solve the issue with the conflicting schedule of EuroLeague and the World Cup Qualifiers windows and informed him that the proposal is still on the table.
You can read the plan in full detail HERE. Yesterday (26/9), EuroLeague reacted to the proposal stating,”The FIBA proposal does not solve the main issue of the national team windows, namely the absence of the best players during the majority of the windows. This problem remains.”
