Marko Pecarski (photo) and Filip Petrusev couldn’t be denied in the final of the Eurobasket U18 as they led Serbia to the gold medal after a win over Latvia 99:90.
Pecarski had a monster game in the final, scoring no less than 34 points while grabbing 13 rebounds. This performance and a great overall tournament (24,7 ppg, 11 rpg) brought to Pecarski the MVP award.
Petrusev was his partner in a crime scoring 29 points as he added 8 boards as well. Both of them earned a spot in the All-Tournament Team.
