Serbian guard Dusan Bulut, best known for his 3-on-3 participation in several FIBA events and his ranking as the best 3-on-3 player internationally, announced that he will withdraw from Big3 due to receiving threats from FIBA.

Bulut was drafted in Big3, the biggest professional 3-on-3 league featuring former NBA names and more, though FIBA allegedly threatened him with sanctions that could result in his elimination from the 2020 Olympics.

Ηowever, according to Eurohoops sources, FIBA has informed all athletes involved in 3X3 competitions that participation in any other 3×3 league does not have an impact on player eligibility for the Olympics. Moreover, players can participate in the FIBA 3×3 World Tour after playing in other 3×3 competitions.
