Evina Maltsi announced earlier this summer her decision to retire and on Saturday she got a standing ovation from the Greek fans, before the prep game of the Greek national team against Turkey.
Born in 1978, Maltsi played in the WNBA back in 2007 and she led the Greek national team to its biggest achievements while being the 2009 Eurobasket MVP. She started his career with the national team in the 2004 Olympics.
