Ahead of the FIBA Intercontinental Cup that tips off this Friday, the teams gave a press conference in Rio De Janeiro of Brazil.
AEK head coach Luca Banchi was asked to comment on the fact that the Brazilians only know Giannis Antetokounmpo in regards to Greek basketball, and whether AEK plays as stunningly as him.
Banchi answered lightheartedly: “For you will be easy. The moment you see my team on the court, you’ll realize there’s no Antetokounmpo And the other coaches know very well there are no such surprises.”
