Makis Aggelopoulos noted the importance of the Intercontinental Cup title, not only for AEK but Greek basketball as a whole is his recent interview with Nova.
“I think we had luck on our side. We got three titles. It is a great joy and honor for AEK, but also for the recognition of Greek basketball. That was what we represented at the event. It is our honor to have brought the last two international titles in the country.”

“I feel great. It was a challenge with two big games. I’m glad we stayed together and made it”, commented Jordan Theodore.
“I suffered a fracture, but it should be alright. What happened was a unique experience, not many players will go through that. I want to also give props to last year’s roster. And of course, I want to congratulate the current team. It was a great experience”, added Vassilis Xanthopoulos.
