The FIBA Basketball World Cup has a long and rich history, one that dates back to 1950 when it was first staged in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Since that time, many of the sport’s greatest players have graced its stage.
The documentary goes all the way back to the beginning and reviews the history of FIBA’s flagship event and the players, games and tournaments that have shaped it into the spectacle it is today. It covers 69 years and 18 tournaments and includes some of the biggest legends of the FIBA Basketball World Cup.
