Projected No. 1 pick Victor Wembanayama delivered once again for the French national team. In his second game with the senior squad, the 18-year-old mega-prospect produced a team-high 19 points (4-9 3-pointers, 3/6 triples), four rebounds, two shots and two blocks in 24:27 minutes as France beat Bosnia and Herzegovina 92 – 56 to clinch a spot in the 2023 World Cup.
Wembanyama took a lot of offensive responsibilities, attempting more field goal attempts than any other player not only among his teammates but on the floor in general. He had some unique highlights and displayed his, sometimes ridiculous, shot-making ability from every range.
