Team USA for the 2023 FIBA World Cup is taking shape, with two more players committing: Memphis Grizzlies‘ Jaren Jackson Jr. and New Orleans Pelicans‘ Brandon Ingram, per Adrian Wojnarowski.

Previously, six players put their names in the hat, with Austin Reaves of the Los Angeles Lakers among them, despite rumors of potentially representing Germany.

USA Basketball executive director Grant Hill and coach Steve Kerr are still finalizing a 12-man roster to compete in Manila, with the team expected to be completed by the end of the month.

This season, Jackson Jr. averaged 18.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.0 blocks, and 1.0 assists per game in 63 appearances and won the Defensive Player of the Year award. He was also the NBA block leader and, for the second time, in NBA All-Defensive First Team.

Ingram finished the regular season averaging 24.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 5.8 assists per game in just 45 appearances for the Pelicans.
