Following their convincing 90-72 victory over Lithuania at home, the French National Team emerged victorious again, with a score of 76-70 in Vilnius in front of almost 10,000 home fans.
In this game, Guerschon Yabusele led Vincent Collet’s team with 19 points and six rebounds, while Frank Ntilikina followed with 13 points, and Rudy Gobert was just two rebounds short of achieving a double-double with 12 points.
Eimantas Bendzius fought well against Les Bleus, scoring 21 points, while Jonas Valanciunas achieved a double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds. Rokas Jokubaitis contributed with ten assists but managed only seven points.
Playing in front of their fans, Lithuania displayed an improved performance, as expected, compared to their match in France a few days ago. The two teams exchanged leads throughout the game, with the 2022 Eurobasket silver medalists holding a slim 58-56 lead entering the final period.

However, in a span of just three minutes, Moustapha Fall, Elie Okobo, and Frank Ntilikina extended France’s lead into double digits. Lead reached 13 points after Ntilikina sank a three-pointer with less than six minutes remaining. Lithuania fought back and narrowed the deficit to four points with 79 seconds left after a three-pointer from Bendzius. Yet, Evan Fournier responded, pushing the hosts back and securing the victory for his team with a layup.
