After securing victory against Finland in their last home game this summer, Lithuania has announced its definitive roster for the 2023 FIBA World Cup, and Azuolas Tubelis did not make the selection.
The 21-year-old power forward, who recently signed a two-way deal with the Philadelphia 76ers, is the latest name to be struck off by head coach Kazys Maksvytis, finalizing the team.
Given that several players such as Domantas Sabonis, Rokas Giedraitis, Marius Grigonis, Edgaras Ulanovas, and Lukas Lekavicius have opted to skip the World Cup, the Lithuanian team will feature five debutants.
