Canada took the first 10 minutes 27-21, but Spain responded strongly and went into halftime with a 44-40 lead. After a break, it started getting harder for both sides to score, and Canada managed to narrow the gap to 55-56 before the final period.
The fight continued, and the Spanish team looked closer to the win, but Canada managed to tie it in the last minute. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had a chance to win the game with a buzzer-beater but missed. In overtime, the guests took control and eventually secured a victory in Granada.
