Manila, Philippines – Basketball is a global sport and the rest of the world is catching up with the USA. However, some countries are not just there yet.
That’s pretty much the story of the game between the USA and Jordan with the players of Steve Kerr taking care of business from the first moment on the way to a triumph and a 3-0 start in the FIBA World Cup.
The final score was 110-62 with Anthony Edwards scoring 22 points, Jaren Jackson jr adding 12, Bobby Portis scored 13 and Josh Hart being the top rebounder with 12.
The game was over practically from the tip-off with the USA getting a 15-2 lead and extending it to 31-12 by the end of the first period.
Rondae Hollis Jefferson tried to keep Jordan alive and scored 16 points in the first half, however, Edwards had 18 and Team USA was rolling against a team with obviously less quality.

The halftime score was 62-33 and there’s nothing noteworthy to add after that.
The USA entered the last period leading by 38 (87-49) and led even by 50 (108-58) after a dunk by Paolo Banchero.
Hollis Jefferson finished the game with 20 points and seven rebounds for the losing side.
