Adomaitis: “We can reach a solution with FIBA’s proposal”

The coach notes: “FIBA’s proposal seems rational enough to help the two sides reach a solution to this ongoing problem. I’m happy that the first step was done and the discussion has begun. That’s what the world of basketball wanted and I hope we can find a solution”.

Adomaitis knows the schedule will be tough for the players: “We have a solution and then we can handle it in a way so that the players’ schedule won’t be so heavy during the “windows”. As a coach, I can transform the roster from one game to another and of course reduce the playing time of some players.”

“We can listen to the players’ and teams’ opinions in order to reach this solution. As I often say, communication is the biggest asset in every problem. What I find important is that FIBA’s schedule includes a summer free of obligations once every four years. It’s important for the players’ health and careers”.
