Ognen Kuzmic changed nationality in order to play in the upcoming World Cup with Serbia, but the Warriors center will not be present in Spain due to a stress fracture. Also Nemanja Dangubic, the 54th pick of the latest draft, is expected to stay out of the team due to injury.
As it was announced after the first part of Serbian national team’s training camp by coach Sasha Djordjevic: “Ognen has a stress fracture and he will need to stay out of action for three to four weeks. There’s a very small posibility for him to play in the upcoming FIBA World Cup”.
As for Dangubic, the player whose rights belong to the Spurs after being drafted by the Sixers, has a swallen knee from the first day of the training camp and he is also expected to miss the tournament.
