Slovenia and Croatia continued their preparation for the upcoming FIBA World Cup with wins. Playing at home against Canada, Croatia got the 69-64 win with naturalized American poing guard Oliver Lafayette scoring 12 points and dishing 6 assists. The hosts played with out Bojan Bogdanovic of the Nets, Ante Tomic of Barcelona and Roko Leni Ukic who just joined the training camp.
In China, after losing the first game to Russia in Stankovic Cup, Slovenia bounced back with two wins over Angola (79-58) and host China (82-74) with Goran Dragic still a spectator.
