Just hours after the end of the preparation tournament at Pau, the French basketball federation announced that Baskonia‘s Kim Tillie was cut from the preselection team which now consists of 13 players, including NBA champion Boris Diaw. The veteran forward and natural leader of the team hasn’t played yet in any preparation game.
In Serbia, there are hopes that Nemanja Nedovic may play after all to the FIBA World Cup. Golden State‘s guard was injured last week, but according to local media reports the latest medical exams showed that he hasn’t fractured his foot and he may have the time to recover until the start of the tournament. Of course, the Warriors have to give their permission to the player.
